Returns & Refunds
How returns and refunds work, and what we can accept given the nature of research materials.
Returns eligibility
We accept returns only for products that are unopened, unused and in their original packaging, within 14 days of receipt. Because of the sensitive nature of research materials, once a product’s security seal has been broken the item can no longer be returned.
Defective or damaged items
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please notify us within 48 hours at support@simplypeptides.co.uk. We may ask for photographic evidence of the damage, and will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Non-returnable items
For health and contamination-control reasons, we cannot accept returns of: products that have been opened or unsealed; items that have been used; goods that are not in their original condition; or any item returned outside the 14-day window.
How to start a return
To begin a return, email support@simplypeptides.co.uk with your order number, the item details and the reason for the return. We will then provide you with return instructions.
Return shipping & refunds
Unless the item was defective or sent in error, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot reimburse returns that are lost in transit. Once your return is approved, the refund is processed to your original payment method within 5–7 working days.
Refunds on Bitcoin orders
If you paid with Bitcoin, your refund is also made in Bitcoin, sent to a wallet address you provide when the refund is agreed. The amount refunded is the pound sterling (GBP) value of your refund on the day we process it — so if £30 is due back to you, you receive £30 worth of Bitcoin at that day’s exchange rate, regardless of what the Bitcoin price has done since you ordered. Where a Bitcoin discount was applied to your order, the refund is based on the discounted amount you actually paid, as with any other promotion. Bitcoin refunds are sent within the same 5–7 working day window and we’ll always confirm the wallet address with you before sending — please double-check it carefully, as Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed.
