Every peptide supplier in the UK says the same three things: high purity, lab tested, fast dispatch. Almost none of them show you anything. We decided the only honest way to stand out was to stop claiming and start publishing — the reports, the batch numbers, and the delivery times we actually hit.
The problem with taking a supplier’s word for it
A Certificate of Analysis is a PDF. Anyone can produce one, attach it to any batch, and nothing about the file itself tells you whether the vial in your hand is the one it was written for. The same is true of “99% purity” on a product page, and of “same-day dispatch” on a banner: they cost nothing to say and, for most of this industry, nothing to break.
That leaves researchers doing something faintly ridiculous — choosing a supplier on the confidence of its marketing. We have been on the buying end of that and did not enjoy it either, so we built this store around a simpler rule: if we say it, you should be able to check it.
So the reports on this site come from the lab in the lab’s own words, the delivery figures are generated from our order data rather than written by us, and where we cannot prove something we say so plainly — there is a section further down this page devoted to exactly that.
Six things we do differently
None of these are difficult. They are simply things most suppliers would rather not commit to in writing.
A short supplier list, and a way onto it
We buy from a small number of manufacturers, directly rather than through a broker. Onboarding a new one means sending a selection of their batches for independent testing to check their COAs against what is actually in the vial — and a supplier whose paperwork does not survive that does not get sold here at all. Every compound we list is confirmed to ≥99% purity by HPLC and mass spectrometry.

On selected batches we pay for third-party analysis by Janoshik, an independent lab with no stake in the result. What we put up is the lab’s own document — not a summary, not a screenshot, the report itself — each one carrying a verification key you can check with Janoshik directly.

We pay by bank through Fena, an FCA-regulated open banking provider — you approve the payment in your own banking app and we never see a card number. The specialist card processors that will touch this sector charge around 10%; we would rather keep that off your price than pass it on. Paying in Bitcoin takes 20% off your first order and 10% off every one after.

And four things we would rather tell you ourselves
We would rather tell you something true than something you want to hear. So here are the limits, in our words rather than someone else’s.
We do not own a laboratory
The ≥99% figure is the manufacturer’s analysis, and the independent figure is Janoshik’s. We are the supplier, not the lab, and you should read our purity claims as exactly that.
Independent testing does not yet cover the whole range
A full independent analysis runs to £300 or more per compound, so testing every line we stock is not viable — we spend it where the orders are, and a compound becoming popular is usually what pays for its own testing. Popular lines are tested and re-tested on a rolling basis; widening that towards the whole range is where the money goes as we grow. We get things wrong, and you will hear it from us
We are not perfect and have never claimed to be. Parcels go astray, stock runs short, something we have said turns out to be wrong. When it happens we own it, put it right, and then go and fix whatever let it happen in the first place — rather than hoping you did not notice. Getting a little better at this every week is most of the job.
We publish the bad months too
The figures at the top of this page are not a target and not an average of our best weeks — they are simply what happened, and we have no way to edit them. When a week goes badly the number falls, and you get to watch it fall.
Where we are trying to get to
Testing on a schedule, not on whatever is left in the budget
We want to be the first place a UK researcher thinks of — not because we say the right things, but because everything we say can be checked. The way there is an independent testing rota that keeps pace with how fast each line actually moves.

Those two figures are not plucked out of the air. The tiers are set by units sold, because that is what decides how long a batch lasts us — and we buy each batch to cover roughly that period. Testing at this cadence therefore means the report you are reading is about the batch in your hand, rather than a different one from a year ago.
